Standard southern breakfast food like eggs, pancakes. This isn't a high end restaurant but it's really good and the perfect place to quickly stop in for breakfast. Everything was really good but I just have one complaint. The waitress initially brought out undercooked pancakes and honestly they did not even look done when she brought them. I did ask for another stack and she returned less than 2 minutes later with a nice brown stack.

Food is always good! Service is great! Servers are super helpful, I always do a pick up order & the food is always hot at pick up! It's always packed inside so always get there early If you wanna sit immediately:

They have the best waffles light and fluffy. My second favorite here is the sausage biscuits and gravy really good flavor. The fresh squeezed orange juice is on point. Anytime family comes to town. I always bring them here.

Early morning appointments and time for good food. Grumpy's did not disappoint. I had the grilled chicken strips with mashed potatoes and vegetable medley. Friend had the grilled Reuben and fries. Delicious!! Great customer service from the server, Hayley (I think, sorry she said her name fast). Manager came by to see how the meals were - stopping at tables nearby as well. Delicious meals again - we will be back!

Its always a great experience when we go to grumpy's. My mom and I enjoyed ourselves. I can't go without getting a hot chocolate with whipped cream The wait wasn't that bad. The staff made everything move fairly quickly, but i would suggest going with four people or less to be seated faster.

Someone told me about Grumpy's, and I went there the next day. I have to say that the food is delicious, and even the coffee is good. Our server and others were friendly, attentive, and catered to our needs.

First time and loved it. Quickly seated on a busy Sunday morning and had our food right out. Tasted delicious. Nice and crispy hush browns.

Listen, I love Grumpy's for an early breakfast and I am going to give them a five star review but really wish I could give them a 4.5 star review. I was greeted and seated immediately by the hostess at table a near the back. She asked if I wanted to sit at the counter, but it is so busy there it would not be a peaceful meal . This is the original location and can be slammed from start to finish. It took a while for my server to find me and take my drink order (black coffee and water). Their coffee is better than most restaurants you go to and their mugs are great (heavy and fit in your hand well). As usual, the food was spot on. I ordered the #3 (2 eggs over easy, 2 sausage patties, home fries, and wheat toast bc they were out of sourdough. Everything was well prepared and tasted great. I am usually a hash brown guy but their home fries are so well seasoned I decided to change it up today. My chief complaint was that the service was just off compared to their normal sterling service. It was slow and my coffee cup ran empty and I had to flag down a different server to get a refill. However, my server did volunteer to bring me a go cup without me asking (like I said they have good coffee). I also noted that some other persons in my area were waiting a long time for food or food was coming out in shifts (so tables were not eating together). Also, persons were waiting to pay. Fun thing I noticed today that I had never noticed before, they provide free water for customers who are waiting to be seated. I also noticed this AM they also provide free coffee (what a nice thought when you are waiting for breakfast and the need for caffeine kicks in). I will definitely go back, just hope this is not a harbinger of things to come.

So you may ask how breakfast food could be any better. Well, Grumpy's does it. The pancakes are so light they should be floating. The cinnamon roll pancakes are crazy good. The home fries, best I've ever had. Sausage patties unreal good. Fresh squeezed OJ is such a nice addition. The service was amazing seeing how busy they were. There is definitely a wait time so come early. Very cute interior for such a small place. Highly recommend this place.

We decided to grab lunch at Grumpys on our way through town and arrived 20 minutes until closing. We asked the first person we saw if it was too late to eat there and honestly SHE was grumpy but said it wasn't too late. We went inside and we were seated pretty quickly. Our waitress (Summer is what it said on the ticket) was so sweet and fun to chat with. We ordered a pumpkin cinnamon roll which was very delicious but my fried chicken Benedict stole the show. It was so flavorful and the chicken was perfectly crispy. The little fried jalapeño on top was a perfect touch. I had a hard time stopping when I was full. My husband really loved his chicken pot pie. He said it was the perfect portion for lunch too. My daughter said the chocolate chip pancakes were great but couldn't finish both pancakes so we got one to go. The restaurant was clean and inviting. When we left we said we would love to come back (if we ever drive through town again.)
